What to expect?

1

In our first session, we will dive into your personal challenges and goals, allowing you to express your concerns in a safe, confidential space while outlining how counseling can help you.

2

We will collaboratively create a personalized plan to meet your needs. Your therapist will skillfully use proven techniques to help you develop skills and make progress toward your goals.

3

As sessions progress, we will collaboratively address ongoing challenges, monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments, ultimately achieving your goals and inner harmony.

We tailor therapy to meet the unique needs of each client by skillfully combining different therapeutic approaches. Below are some of the frequently used approaches by our therapists, all rooted in trauma-informed and shame-informed frameworks, along with attachment, mindfulness, and self-compassion theories.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps clients identify the connections between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, effectively improving well-being. Changing one aspect can positively impact the others, thereby enhancing mental health.

Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)

DBT helps individuals manage their emotions, enhance their relationships, and develop effective coping strategies. It balances the importance of acceptance while encouraging positive transformation.

Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS)

IFS sees the mind as composed of various "parts," each with distinct roles, alongside a central "Self" embodying compassion and wisdom. Its goal is to help individuals heal their parts and promote harmony.

Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

SFBT is a brief, goal-oriented approach that helps clients focus on solutions and build hope for lasting change. It emphasizes strengths and resources to achieve positive outcomes, concentrating on current issues.
